Christmas Time is here

I always used to think of this day in terms of what I got. And the time leading up to this day was just a series of 24 hour periods of time that were designed specifically to make a kid go absolutely street rat crazy in anticipation of all the bounty that awaited him on this day.

Isn't it funny how age changes not only ones body, but also one's mind.

As I sit here on Christmas day, the wife is in the shower, the youngest is on the living room floor playing with a toy drill that he got for christmas, I am reminded that no matter how old you become, you still "get" at Christmas. I get to see the joy in my Childrens' eyes as they open presents to find something that they asked Santa for and tried SO desperetely to be "good" to recieve. Such open emotion. I am so grateful for them. My 2 gifts. They give me so much. Merry Christmas.
